We are a small, truly family run farm. Our kids are involved in daily animal chores. We spend our lives loving, caring, and providing for our livestock and in turn they provide for and nourish us. Our lambs and hogs are born here. Our calves are either born here or come at a couple days old directly from local, small family dairies and are raised on fresh milk from our Jersey cows. Once old enough they are raised on pasture. All of our animals have free access to the outdoors and are raised on dirt, sunshine, pasture, mud wallows, etc. They are respected for the species that they are and given the best possible area to live happy, healthy lives. Our hay and some corn are grown on our farm. Any other feed needs come from a small family owned local feed store. Our beef is pastured until their last fall. The end of that growing season them come in and have some grain finish while always maintaining free choice quality hay also. If you are looking to have a reliable, clean, healthy meat source for your family, support humanely raised animals, support an individual family/community and not all the middle men or big corporations, we would be honored to be your farmer!
